Confirmed that it was a man made crop circle formation. It is important to mention that anyone who admits to making/assisting stands the risk of prosecution. Very honest and brave of Andrew Russell to admit  involvement.

Footage taken by Winston Keech. Winston a dedicated guy who has spent many nights out in Wiltshire trying to capture something unusual  on this night several Chinese Lanterns were released by the Barge Inn - however its difficult to question this footage as the ball of light does appear to speed away into the horizon which is not the normal behaviour of a Chinese Lantern.

Every visit to crop circles was always a vigilant one, as we were taking ground images at the top of the field an orange light appeared which then turned into three lights, it snaked smoothly across the top of the field then slowly dimmed and disappeared.
